Pray for our troops, their mission, their safety, their faith, their conduct, their witness, their discernment.  Pray for godly and wise leaders to be protected from those who might be inclined to demonize them while under significant stress related to homeland security and the balancing act in the middle east, for merely partisan reasons.  And pray for the peace of Jerusalem, the rightful capital city of the rightful nation of Israel, and for God's glory not to be robbed by those whose radicalism seems led only to death, a culture of death, and a campaign of deception, theft, terror, and death. Pray the words of "A Mighty Fortress is our God" this day especially as related not so much to individual nations or individual persons but to His rightful glory, partially realized coming reign, and soon coming triumph over evil at the return of Jesus Christ to earth.
